Accurate identification of the make, year, & model of the machine is essential to ensure parts compatibility. Thankfully, all this information can be gathered from the VIN!
Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs)
Each VIN consists of 17 characters. The first 11 correspond to various attributes of the machine including type, make, year, and model. The last 6 characters are a serial number used for identification purposes. We may ask you for the VIN in order to confirm make, year, and model.
Locating the VIN
The VIN is usually stamped on the machine’s frame.
